Matteo's Ristorante Italiano

Matteo's, located in The Venetian Las Vegas, is a great place for Italian cuisine. We opted for the bread service which brings a small variety of breads and an olive spread. Their house-made pasta is delicious and they offer several different dishes and varieties of pasta. I had the pork and veal pasta dish while my wife enjoyed their short rib pasta. We both thoroughly enjoyed our dishes. Knowing we were celebrating an anniversary, we were surprised with a strawberry cake that was filled with chocolate mousse. It was an appreciated surprise and sensational! If you are in Vegas and looking for a reasonably priced and delicious dinner, you should seriously consider Matteo's.

Matteo’s was my last hurrah in Vegas before heading home. I picked it because on day one I noticed a line out the door—one you’d expect for the hottest bar in town. Except… this wasn’t a bar, and it wasn’t a celebrity-chef restaurant either (at least not to my knowledge). So, what was all the fuss about? Time to find out. My husband and I went last night, and wow—worth it. The food was remarkable, easily one of the best pastas I’ve ever had. The service was top-notch, and the ambiance had that effortlessly cool vibe that makes you want to linger. Bonus points for the homemade sodas—fun, refreshing, and perfect if you’re still sticking to dry January. Now for my one but: it took a full hour for our food to arrive. And let’s be honest, no one wants to spend vacation time waiting when an entire city is buzzing outside. Would I recommend it? Absolutely—for the pasta alone. Just maybe don’t come starving.

Addended review. Family and I returned the following afternoon for lunch looking to experience the wonderful food and services we have come to expect from this place (it is my daughter’s favorite restaurant in vegas) and the resturant delivered flawlessly. The two pasta plates were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Service staff were warm, attentive without being intrusive. The overalll experience was exceptional. We will be back. Original review: We had visited multiple times to the resturant when in vegas over the years and had excellent food and service. Latest visit was bit disappointing. First the server mixed up our party’s order and put different food choices in front of different people. Not big deal typically but they came back 2 minutes to rearranged the food plates after people have dug in to them already - if we weren’t close friends/family I would not have accepted the plate that’s been dug in to be given to me. No apologies from service staff. The fettuccini with meat sauce I ordered had good flavor but the pasta was bit overcooked. The Branzino was excellent. When bill came. They gave us bill from another table. Just overall bit disappointing from what we had come to expect from this place.

Been here a couple times and is a good place for dinner on restaurant row between Venetian and Palazzo. I sat at the bar this time, so didn't have to wait for a seat. Ordered a Caesar salad and had there Handkerchief pasta. Both were very flavorful and I would definitely order again. I've tried some of there other dishes on separate occasions and the portions always seem to be good

Matteo’s is a level above some of the other Italian offerings at The Venetian. Absolutely no negatives, each dish was special, the service attentive, friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is smart and sophisticated. It is a little exxy but you get what you pay for, and I would do it again in a flash…it was seriously good. We were walk ins when the place was busy at 8:30 on a Friday night, and were promptly seated. See my photos for a snaphot and description of our choices…I think I have the descriptions right. Thanks to Roberto and Leo who looked after us and were so focused on providing excellent service and enjoyable customer dining experience. Highly recommended.

Phe-nom-en-al. Steve provided excellent service accompanied by an attentive support staff. A truly great experience. My wife and I shared a Ceasars Salad, Ravioli and Brussel Spouts. The meal was perfect with each course just as good as the last. The ravioli was fresh, thin, delicate and seasoned perfectly. We loved it all.

Wonder meal from start to finish. We did not have reservations and got right in. Service was amazing. We had the bread flight, a salad that was out of this world good. Loved the roasted hazelnuts and the cheese!!! . Our entrees were delicious! I had the lobster saffron pasta. And my husband had the squid ink pasta.

My husband and I dined at Matteo’s for the first time on our recent trip to Las Vegas, and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was exceptional, and the service went above and beyond our expectations. We chose the prix fixe dinner, which included a flavorful squid appetizer, perfectly cooked filet mignon, and a creamy panna cotta to finish. We also added the linguini with crab meat in a bright, lemony sauce — absolutely delicious. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. We’ll definitely be returning the next time we’re in town. Highly recommend this incredible restaurant!
